IT’S BEGINNING to look a lot like Christmas in the Malvern Hills District with late night shopping and festive markets on the way.
The district council is working closely with Boffy Arts Markets Ltd and Worcestershire Regulatory Services to ensure the events take place in line with the latest Government guidance to help keep residents, shoppers, and traders safe.
The Tenbury Wells Food Night Market will be held from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 3, in and near The Round Market.
It will feature a range of local artisan producers selling breads, preserves, steamed puddings, pastries, and cakes.
This will be the first night of late-night Christmas shopping in Tenbury Wells when stores will be open until 7pm – as they will be on the next two Thursdays, December 10 and 17.
The Great Malvern Christmas Market has been re-arranged to take place from 10am to 5pm on Saturday, December 5, in the Priory Grounds.
Visitors will also have the chance to shop for the perfect unique Christmas gift from talented local artists, craftspeople, and local producers.
A selection of shops in Great Malvern will be staying open until 7.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday) and then on December 9, 16 and 23 to enable more opportunities to shop local this Christmas.
Businesses in Upton will remain open until 8pm on Thursday, December 3.
