THE FIRST jobs fair of 2017 will soon be coming to Malvern to offer a variety of vacancies across a wide range of sectors.
Supported by Jobcentre Plus, Worcestershire County Council and Malvern Hills District Council, the event will take place at Malvern Library next Wednesday (February 15) from 12pm to 3pm and is free to attend.
The fair will be showcasing jobs with stands from companies such as English Braids, NHS, Armed Forces, Sanctuary, Fortis HR, Princes Trust and Hewett Recruitment.
Libraries and Learning for Worcestershire will also be in attendance, offering free courses at the library including motivation and confidence building, CV writing, interview skills, maths and much more.
Information will also be on hand with advice on careers, apprenticeships, training options and self-employment.
Coun Phil Grove, leader of Malvern Hills District Council, said: “Job fairs are an excellent opportunity to meet potential employers in an informal, friendly atmosphere.
“The Malvern Hills District has so much to offer, it’s a great place to live and work.”
