A NUMBER of people have suffered injuries after strong winds blew over a marquee in Malvern yesterday (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to the Three Counties Showground after the tent was ripped up by a gust about 12.35pm.
Five people were struck when they were walking into another marquee. One man who had chest injuries was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital along with a woman with a suspected broken arm and another with a minor head injury. A further two women, one with a minor head injury and the other with a suspected broken ankle, were taken to the minor injury unit at Malvern Community Hospital.
