Five set out for battle on Westminster

THE LIST of politicians aiming to represent West Worcestershire in Parliament has been reve aled.

Harriett Baldwin will be hoping to secure her seat for a second successive term following the Conservative Party member’s triumph in 2010.

But there are four other candidates who will be campaigning hard ahead of the General Election on Thursday, May 7.

Among those include Mayor of Malvern Julian Roskams, who has been selected by Malvern Hills Green Party as its parliamentary candidate.




The Liberal Democrats came closest to denying Mrs Baldwin five years ago and they will be represented by Dennis Wharton this time around.

Ukip have selected Richard Chamings as its challenger for the seat, while Daniel Walton has been announced as the Labour Party candidate.
