Five-star Malvern Walking Tours set to make welcome return

THE POPULAR Malvern Walking Tours are set to make a much-anticipated return this summer, writes Eloise Hodges.

The entertaining and informative town strolls are climbing their way up to becoming a top attraction in Malvern, with 100 per cent five star reviews on TripAdvisor.

Participants can hear tales of infamous patients and scandals of the 19th Century Water Cure, ‘boffins’ who were an important part of the Second World War and find out about the life of the celebrity cyclist Sir Edward Elgar.

Details will also be revealed about the origins of the ancient Priory, the town’s connections with Narnia and The Lord of the Rings and so much more.

Unfortunately, due to the town’s hilly nature, the walks are unsuitable for those with mobility issues.

The tours take around 90 minutes and starts at the Tourist Information Centre, Lyttelton Well, Church Street, Great Malvern, at 10.30am on Mondays and Saturdays.




The tours cost just £5 per person, with under 14s going free.

Booking is now open for the new season which starts n April 1 and runs until September 30.
