FOUR drivers were issued with a section 59 penalty notice after causing disruption in Golden Valley.
On Saturday, April 1, West Mercia Police received a call from a resident regarding four vehicles acting in an anti-social manner.
Officers attended the scene and the vehicles as well as their drivers were identified as Upton-upon-Severn residents.
Each driver was given a section 59 penalty notice which reflects that the vehicles were being driven in an inappropriate manner and causing alarm and distress to residents in the area.
Police also carried out drug swipe tests, with one driver arrested for driving under the influence of cannabis.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “West Mercia will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and action will be taken when offenders are identified.”
