GRIEVING friends of a young father who was found dead in Malvern will gather at one his favourite places in town to celebrate his life.

Will Evans, a former Dyson Perrins CE High School pupil, was found dead in Beauchamp Road last Thursday not long after posting a heartbreaking message on Facebook which included the words ‘I’m out’.

West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed they were called to the scene where they found a man in a cardiac arrest and revealed nothing could have been done to save him.

Devastated family and friends have flooded his Facebook page to pay tribute to the young father and a group has been set up on the social media site to honour his memory.

There will also be a gathering at Victoria Park on Pickersleigh Avenue tomorrow (Thursday) at about 6pm to celebrate his life and those attending have been asked to bring a candle to the skate park.

A heartbroken friend of the young dad, who asked to remain anonymous, told the Observer: “I had known Will for a few years, he was so kind and considerate.

“He would help everyone with anything.

“Will was a very polite and well spoken man, he was fun to get on with too.”

“Hopefullly the gathering will be a chance for everyone who knew Will to get together and share stories about him and light candles in his memory,” the friend added.

Will went to Kidderminster College to study music technology before working at Worcester’s Hanbao burger restaurant.

A Go Fund Me page has also been launched to raise money for Will’s family and more than £700 has been donated so far.

A tribute on the page read: “Will was an amazing young lad who had so many friends and was loved by so many.

“Over the past few days I’ve seen incredible amounts of support so I thought it would be a great idea to get some fund-raising together to take some pain and weight off the family’s shoulders.

“No words can stop the pain but our actions can at least show some passion and care towards what is such a sad loss for many.”
