TRADERS in Barnards Green will be saying a huge thank you for their customers’ support throughout the year by hosting a Christmas Extravaganza event this weekend.
Members of the Barnards Green Traders Association will be having a day full of festive celebration on Saturday (December 7) with Christmas activities planned for families to enjoy.
The event, which proved really successful last year, will see three free twenty-minute magic shows for children taking place throughout the morning before Father Christmas makes a special appearance later in the day.
Children will be also be able to paint a Christmas pottery decoration for free at Green Frog Pottery.
Older children will have the chance to create their own spiced orange pomander and there will also be a demonstration of circus skills. Other activities include a Christmas decoration competition with many prizes up for grabs, a festive anagram quiz, festive balloon modelling, a tombola and much more.
Money raised during the day will be donated to Malvern Community Hospital’s appeal for funds to buy a new eye inspection trolley. The event has been supported by Malvern Town Council, Malvern Hills District Council and county councillor Lucy Hodgson.
