A LITTERPICK litter pick held on Saturday to clean up Malvern’s green spaces was hailed a great success.
A team of nine volunteers joined the Malvern Hills Trust on a beautiful spring day and collected 20 bags of litter from the verges at the Community Woodland, Townsend Way.
The litterpick was organised by the Malvern Hills Trust.
Beck Baker, the trust’s community and conservation officer, said: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who took part.
“This was the first community litter pick since the start of the pandemic and we were thrilled at how people got stuck in to clear up this area.”
The event was one of a number of events run by local charities and organisations to help clean the district as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean.
