GRITTERS will be out this evening as temperatures dip overnight.
The highways teams are set to go out from 7pm, depending on when the road finishes, and conditions will be monitored through the night. The Met Office is predicting a risk of rain, hail, sleet and snow of a slushy nature.
Road surface temperatures will dip to below freezing this evening and there will be potential for icy roads where surfaces are damp.
Grit bins are also being refilled by Worcestershire County Council but residents are urged to only use the grit on the roads and pavements, not on their own driveways.
Motorists should be aware of their driveway and not assume roads have been gritted.
