Groups of youths breaching Rule of Six regulations dispersed from Malvern park

TWO GROUPS of youths were dispersed from Malvern on the same evening.

Police acted after coming across the gatherings of seven and nine in Victoria Park.

The Government’s Rule of Six law says people cannot meet in groups of more than six.

Officers say the groups were surrounded by litter which they claimed had been left by others.

The Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team posted on Twitter: “One lad made an effort to clear it up when asked.”

Police stepped up patrols following complaints from local residents about anti-social behaviour at Victoria Park.
