PLENTY of family fun is on the cards at a Hanley Swan school’s upcoming summer fayre.

Hanley Swan Primary School’s fayre, organised by the school’s Parent and Friends Association (PFA), takes place on Friday, July 4 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, on the playing field.

A whole host of activities and games will be on offer, along with stalls, inflatables, bar, BBQ, animal corner, ice cream van, and face painting.

Activities include an inflatable fun run, inflatable human whack a mole, animal corner with Valais Black Nose Sheep, Cameroon Sheep which originate from Africa, and pygmy goats, sports activities, beat the goalie game, and traditional games such as hook a duck, splat the rat and tombola.

Also in attendance will be Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA), a volunteer water-based search and rescue team, and West Mercia Police Safer Neighbourhood Team with their police vehicle for children to look at.

Mr Pratley, headteacher of Hanley Swan Primary School said: “We have lots of fun activities taking place at this year’s summer fayre, it’s a lovely event and everyone is welcome.

“It is also a great opportunity for prospective families and new starters to meet our friendly staff and children.”

All proceeds will go towards funding educational trips, school equipment, learning resources, and much more.
