A HAUL worth more than £1,000 has been stolen from a Malvern home during a burglary.

The break-in took place between 3pm and 8pm on Sunday (April 6). The thieves got in through an insecure window at the home in Picken End.

They stole an Apple iPod 16GB, a Swarovski one inch square aqua crystal dress ring, a silver chain and locket, a quantity of other dress rings and about £60 in cash.

Det Con Ian Wright said: “Some of the jewellery items are very distinctive and we want to hear from anyone who has been offered items matching their descriptions.

He called on anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or unfamiliar vehicles in the area at the time to contact him on 101 using the reference number 0638S 060414.

Information can also be passed on to Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555111.
