Have your say on the future of the Malvern Hills and Commons

THE Malvern Hills Trust (MHT), which cares for much of the landscape of the Malvern Hills and Commons, is inviting residents and visitors to share their views on this special area to help shape their future land management.

The practical work of the staff, volunteers and partners is guided by the Land Management Plan.

This plan is being updated now to start in April 2027 and as part of the process the Trust is launching an early consultation to gather views on what people value most about the Hills and Commons, and what they see as the key challenges for the future.

MHT Conservation Manager, Jonathan Bills, said: “The Malvern Hills and Commons are such a special place and require a huge amount of work to keep them special for the nation.

“Our Land Management Plan is a key tool in understanding the land and planning how best to look after it in a rapidly changing world.

“A series of consultation opportunities will ensure the public can feed into this Plan and learn more about MHT’s land management.”

From this week, specially designed postcards will be available for people to write down their comments and return by Freepost.

Alternatively, the postcard can be completed by sending in your responses to [email protected] using the subject ‘Postcard Consultation’.

All postcards and online responses must be received by December 31.

Visit malvernhills.org.uk/ for a full list of where to pick up the postcards.
