HUNDREDS of discount vouchers to spend in stores across Malvern will soon be available following the launch of a new discounts catalogue.
The District Discount Book, created by Upton News with support from Malvern Hills District Council will feature discounts and vouchers from over 200 local businesses.
The book, costing £1 hopes to increase footfall and support for local businesses in the region.
You can purchase a copy of the book in local shops, online and in community venues from Saturday April, 1. 5000 issues will be available.
Featured offers include 20 per cent off selected shows at Malvern Theatres, a free glass of wine when you spend £10 on an evening meal at the Boathouse in Upton upon Severn and 10 per cent off To Boot in Great Malvern.
Rebecca Probert, town centre support officer at Malvern Hills District Council said: “This scheme offers businesses a cost-effective way to advertise to a large audience over a long period, as well as providing local people with fantastic deals to spend on our high street.
“It has been great working with Annette who has worked extremely hard to get local businesses on board and create this brand-new initiative”.
Annette Keyworth, from Upton News said: “If you are part of a local group, you can sell the books either with an online code or directly with stock.
“This is great for members and all the businesses featured. We split the income from book sales 50/50, so this can be part of your fundraising strategy.
“Individuals, businesses, community groups and organisations as well as schools can sell the books.”
