MALVERN’s Robin Elt Shoes store has made the shortlist in four categories in this year’s national Footwear Industry Awards.
The 143 year-old family business have yet again become industry finalists and have been selected for the following categories: ‘Men’s Independent Retailer of the Year’, ‘Ladies’ Independent Retailer of the Year’, ‘Independent Family Retailer of the Year’ and ‘Multiple Retailer of the Year’.
This is the second year running that the footwear retailer on Church Street has been recognised for awards. Last year it won ‘Outdoor Retailer of the Year’.
Industry insiders vote in the awards and a judging panel made up of independent industry representatives decides upon the ultimate winner in each category.
Director, Robin Elt said, “Following our 2016 win as ‘Outdoor Retailer of the Year’, we’re delighted to have been nominated in four further categories.
“I feel this is a major reflection on our dedicated team of staff throughout our branches. Innovation linked with tradition has always been our byword which, together with our high expectation of customer service, must have brought us to this point.”
The winners will be announced at a prestigious Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony by guest host, Ryan Philpott, on February , at the National Conference Centre in Birmingham.
The British Footwear Association (BFA), the Independent Footwear Retailer’s Association (IFRA), Society of Shoe Fitters (SSF) and Footwear Today support the awards.
