A DOZEN homes planned for Holly Green in Upton-upon-Severn have been refused by councillors.
Proposals to build six properties on land off the A4104 – the site of a triple fatality in 2006 – were knocked back due to concerns over road safety.
Coun Andrea Morgan said: “I do not consider this to be a safe area at all to have an entrance in to the site.
“The fatality which happened there previously could easily happen again. I do not agree with highways that this is suitable proposal.”
A further application to build six properties on Ryall Court Lane were also rejected by Malvern Hills District Council’s Northern Area Management Committee last Wednesday (September 23).
