RESIDENTS can get the chance to experience the diversity of Indian culture at The Fold in Bransford this month.
The Indian October festival started on Monday with one of five inspiring workshops, a Kuchipudi dance class with the Hari Om Dance Society from Hong Kong.
It gave a chance for people to gain an introduction to the basics of Kuchipudi.
The Fold is also hosting a traditional Bollywood dance workshop which brings life to the story behind the dance.
Alternatively, there is the chance to try Dandiya Stick, a different style of Bollywood dance which uses decorated sticks as props.
For those who are interested in singing, Gilles Petit will be on hand to help attendees explore their voice and its width and breadth.
The first two concerts was held last Friday and Saturday but there are three more to enjoy, with each concert showcasing a different style of dance, music and song.
The final concert and workshops conclude on Friday, October 26 with a Bollywood and curry evening.
