Job Centre moving into library

Malvern Editorial 13th Nov, 2013 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

WORK on a major project which will see Malvern’s Job Centre service move into the town’s library is set to begin.

The layout of the Graham Road building, which is already the home of the library, Worcestershire Hub and Registration Service, will be redesigned to accommodate the move.

The project, which begins at the end of November and is scheduled to be completed in April next year, will see the Job Centre Plus service move into the lower ground floor sharing space with The Hub, with the library occupying the ground floor.

Both the café and the registration service will remain in their current locations.

The library, hub and registration service will mainly operate as normal during the works but visitors will notice some temporary changes as work progresses during the six month project. There will temporary disruption in a week in December and during a week in March.

From next Monday (November 18), the Hub will temporarily move into the Malvern Room but will remain fully operational throughout.
