INTERNATIONAL jazz star John Hallam will perform at the Malvern Cube from 8pm to 10pm next Sunday, April 3, writes Bill Powis.
It is the latest in The Malvern Jazz, Blues and Swing club programme.
John became a freelance professional musician in 1989, working alongside stars such as Benny Carter, Al Grey and Howard Alden.
His work over the years has spanned across many mediums, including radio, television, jazz workshops and projects for education.
As an accomplished musician, John plays alto, soprano, tenor, baritone saxophones as well as the clarinet.
Organiser Len Thwaites said he was thrilled with his upcoming visit.
“He’s always been very popular at the club and we are really looking forward to a superb evening of mainstream jazz and blues.”
Doors open at 7pm next Sunday and admission is £10 on-the-door.
