RESIDENTS in Kempsey are set for more road disruption tonight and the coming days after it was announced Post Office Lane would be closed from 7pm to 6am.
The road will be closed between these hours tonight up to Friday.
According to Twitter, Severn Trent is carrying out the works to fix a collapsed sewer pipe.
The A38 in Kempsey was closed much of last week due to a collapsed sewer pipe but Severn Trent announced they had suspended the works until the New Year.
But Worcestershire County Council’s @WorcsTravel Twitter account told the Observer there had been a change of plan and the works on Post Office Lane ‘may avoid the A38 closure in January’.
