A MAN threatened a person with a knife at a betting shop on Barnards Green Road in Malvern before leaving with a quantity of cash.
The incident happened at about 8pm yesterday (Sunday) when the man, who was wearing a motorbike helmet, entered the Coral store.
Police have launched an investigation into the robbery and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Det Sgt Sam Bache said: “Although nobody was injured during the incident the victim has understandably been left shaken by what happened and an investigation in underway to identify the man involved.”
Anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area around the time of the robbery, or saw the offender making off afterwards, should call the police on 101 and quote incident number 666s of February 18.
