A MAN arrested on suspicion of possessing prohibited ammunition without a firearms licence has been released on bail.
The 49-year-old from Worcester was detained by police yesterday (Sunday) when officers discovered chemicals and ammunition at a home at Walwyn Road, Colwall.
He has been released on bail this morning while tests on the substances are being carried out.
Residents living nearby were evacuated from their homes while a cordon was put in place but they have now been allowed to return after police declared there was no danger to the public.
