Make supporting Acorns Children's Hospice one of your New Year's resolutions

Malvern Editorial 10th Jan, 2024   0

ACORNS Children’s Hospice are asking Worcestershire residents to make a difference and make supporting the charity their New Year’s resolution.

There are lots of ways people can make a difference from volunteering, to fund-raising, joining an event, or just donating.

Volunteering with Acorns makes a huge difference, whether it’s at the charity’s three hospices or in retail shops across Worcestershire.

Businesses can also get involved by partnering with the charity, or by joining the Acorns Business Club.

You can also leave a gift in your will or make a donation to remember someone special.

There are numerous ways you can donate, such as a one-off gift or a regular donation. You can also donate pre-loved items to Acorns shops which is crucial for keeping shelves fully stocked.

Fund-raising events such as Glow Walk and Bubble Rush are on the calendar for 2024. Visit www.acorns.org.uk/events for more information.

Vicki Rowles, director of fund-raising at Acorns, said: “The New Year is the perfect time to make a resolution to give something back.”

“By supporting Acorns you’ll be helping us to be there for children who need us the most.”

Vicki added: “Do something amazing and help us provide vital care for local children with life limiting conditions.

“Change your life and give something back and we’d be delighted and so grateful for your time and generosity.

“It will make a huge difference to the children and families we help. We’ll be there to support you every step of the way. With you we are stronger together.”
