A TOTAL of six Malvern Buzzards runners were among 130 taking part in Worcester Athletics’ annual Pitchcroft 10K.
The event, which also incorporated the Worcestershire County 10K Championships, took place on a warm evening.
The three-lap race was undertaken around the perimeter tracks and footpaths of Worcester Racecourse.
The first Malvern Buzzards to finish were Carl Salmon, in a time of 35mins, 1sec, followed by Richard Walsh in 36mins and 5secs and Alison Webb – she notched up a time of 41mins, 38secs and came fist in the FV 40 to 49 category.
Kate Dolphin got bronze in the FV 40 to 49 with a time of 44mins and 39secs while Julie Caseley (50mins, 58 secs) won gold in the FV 60+
Ali Bennett ran a time of 43mins and 4secs.
The female team of Alison, Kate and Julie won an overall female team silver.
