FEMALE members of a popular Malvern running club took the bragging rights at the debut of The Clocktower Trail Race in Worcestershire.
Malvern Buzzards took the top three female spots at the first clocktower race organised by Worcestershire Trailblazers.
Anne Kenchington was the fastest lady and third fastest overall with Ali Webb and Margaret Kenchington (pictured) placing second and third in the female rankings.
The five and a half mile race through the Worcestershire countryside kicked off at Abberley Hall School following paths along the Worcestershire Way before moving into Walsgrove and Woodbury Hills.
The race finishes with a route around the focal point of the race, The Abberley Clocktower.

Competitors in the sold out race were awarded with an eco-friendly and sustainable bespoke wooden medal and a free cake for their endeavours.
