A MALVERN care home has been rated ‘Good’ across all areas after a recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection.
The report said Barnards Green home has improved significantly, and are now focusing on a a more refined person-centred approach to care and wellbeing.
Staff have undertaken extensive training, ensuring that residents’ needs and preferences remain at the heart of the home’s everyday care.
Home manager Anamaria Driment, said: “With our new management team in place, all our staff have worked incredibly hard to address the areas highlighted in the previous inspection and we’ve really focused on providing truly person-centred care and one-to-one support.
“But also, the inspection isn’t just about paperwork, it’s about how staff engage with residents, and the inspectors saw our team’s commitment in action over a series of days.
“This rating is a true reflection of our everyday care and dedication and I’m incredibly proud of all our efforts.”
The home has also improved its care planning system, and the report said staff have worked tirelessly to standardise practices and deliver consistently high-quality care across all areas.
Anamaria added: “Achieving a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC is a significant milestone for us and is testament to the professionalism, dedication, and compassion of our staff.
“We’re having a small celebration for this well-deserved achievement and then it’s back to doing what we do best – making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents while supporting their every need.”
