RESIDENTS of Friends of the Elderly Malvern held a double celebration for Afternoon Tea Week and International Cat Day 2023.
Davenham and Bradbury Court, part of the Malvern group, held a fund-raising tea event, in support of the UK’s biggest feline charity, Cats Protection.
Care teams organised a cat-themed tea party in Davenham’s Drawing Room which showcased cat-shaped sandwiches, cakes, and English tea.
Malvern cat ‘Twinkle’ – a long-haired tabby – stole the show.
Suzanne Park, Davenham’s registered manager, said Cats Protection annually supported more than 157,000 cats.
Beth Roberts, manager at Cats Protection Evesham Adoption Centre, thanked the event’s organisers for aiding the charity’s vital work.
The event received generous donations of cat toys, beds, and food, contributing to Cats Protection’s efforts.
