Malvern College celebrates double recognition at Independent Schools of the Year Awards

MALVERN College has been named as a finalist in two categories at this year’s Independent School of the Year Awards.

The College was a finalist in both the Rising Star Award and Independent School of the Year – Central Region.

The College has said the nominations highlight both individual excellence and the strength of its community.

Pupil Chloe-Evelyn Mulwana, a Headmaster’s Scholar and founder of the charitable organisation Write4ChangeUG, was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award in recognition of her inspirational leadership and humanitarian impact.

Malvern College itself was shortlisted for its connection to the Malvern Hills, which shape its ethos of adventure, wellbeing and opportunity.

Headmaster Keith Metcalfe said: “To be recognised nationally in two categories is a wonderful reflection of who we are as a community.

“Chloe-Evelyn’s nomination celebrates the power of pupil-led change, and our regional shortlisting honours the distinctive environment and ethos that make Malvern College such a special place.”
