KIND-hearted members of a Malvern cricket club have raised vital funds for a Worcester charity which supports people with Aspergers.
The Fossils, a cricket team for the over 50’s, recently held a charity match for ASPIE and raised £140.
ASPIE, which is based in Sansome Walk, is an innovative psycho-social support service open all year round to adult members with Asperger’s.
Julia Micklewright, Chair of ASPIE, said: “40 plus members attend ASPIE in Worcester on Wednesdays and we know there are many others in need of the friendship and services we provide.
“The Fossils cricket matches are a wonderful way of raising awareness of ASPIE and the other organisations they support.”
