A MUSIC duo from Malvern will raise funds for a town-based charity when they perform as part of this year’s well-dressing festival.
The Raintrees will play the festival’s prize-giving event in Priory Park on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2.
Andy Lindsay on guitar and Zoe Devenish on violin perform an eclectic mix of music encompassing folk, rock, country and blues.
Andy is the IT coordinator at the Association for Rehabilitation of Communication and Oral Skills (ARCOS), based at Hatherton Lodge in Avenue Road, just a few yards from Priory Park.
ARCOS works with people of all ages who have difficulties with communication, swallowing, eating or drinking.
Andy said: “The well-dressing festival is one of the high points of the Malvern calendar, and we’re delighted we have been chosen to provide music at the May Day event.
“ARCOS will have a fund-raising presence at the event and we hope people will contribute at help fund the great work ARCOS carries out to help all of its clients.”
The well-dressing is organised by Malvern Spa Association, and has been held each year since 1998.
