A MALVERN employer has been presented with an award for its commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant.
Cyber security firm, Assure Technical Limited has received its Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award for its pledge to support the Defence and Armed Forces community.
The scheme – overseen by West Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA) – encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for the employers that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to Defence and the Armed Forces community.
This includes the Reserves, Veterans, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, Cadets, and military spouses or partners.
A spokesperson for the West Midland RFCA SAID: “Many congratulations to all of this year’s winners. It is a pleasure to able to work with each one in order to achieve their goal.
“We understand how much work each winner puts in and we thank them, on behalf of the Armed Forces community, for the effort they put in.
“They are all well-deserved winners and we look forward to continuing to work with them.”
Assure Technical Ltd’s award was presented to them during a ceremony on Wednesday, September 11 at the National Memorial Arboretum.
Guests were welcomed to the event by representatives from some of the local Royal Naval Reserve, Army Reserve and Royal Air Force Reserve units and the event concluded with a short Act of Remembrance at the Armed Forces Memorial.
