THE MALVERN Jobs Fair has been hailed as the ‘most successful one yet’ after more than 1,000 job seekers attended the event to snap up one of the hundreds of positions on offer.

Supported by Jobcentre Plus, Worcestershire County Council and Malvern Hills District Council, the event took place at Malvern Library, on Graham Road, last month.

The fair was attended by companies such as Marks and Spencer, English Braids, Halfords, Fortis Living, the Army, RAF, and many more.

Information was also on hand with advice on careers, apprenticeships, training options and for those starting up a business.

Coun Phil Grove, leader of Malvern Hills District Council said: “The event was the most successful one yet, and we are delighted that people are seeking work within the Malvern Hills district as it has so much to offer.

“It is really pleasing to hear such positive feedback from the many great employers that we have within the district.”
