EMPLOYMENT seekers could soon find a new job or career when the Malvern Jobs Fair returns this month.
The free event will be held from 10.30am to 12.30pm on September 17 at Great Malvern Library on Graham Road.
Organised by The Job Centre, Great Malvern Library, and supported by Malvern Hills District Council, the fair will see more than 20 employers offering advice and information about vacancies across the district.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to find out about other information and ideas for careers, training, apprenticeships, and self-employment options.
Amongst the employers in attendance, there will be Act on Energy, Malvern College, West Mercia Police, Platform Housing, Helping Hands, and much more.
Councillor Beverley Nielsen, portfolio holder for economy and tourism at Malvern hills District Council, said: “The Malvern Jobs Fair is always popular and well attended.
“It’s a great opportunity for people of different ages to see what’s on offer across the district. Employers are looking to recruit and tackle some real skills shortages.
“As a council, we’re keen to support them by linking local talent into local opportunity.
“The fair is free to attend, so if you are looking for a new career, want to find out about training opportunities, or to just want to have a chat, why not pop in.”
