THE Malvern Male Voice Choir has invited the community to an evening of music, reflection, and remembrance.
Entitled ‘Magic Dawn and Sunset Bright,’ this inspirational event marks Armistice with a thoughtful blend of choral music, poetry, and prose exploring the themes of war, peace, and hope.
The choir, conducted by Charles Pavey, will perform a selection of reflective pieces interwoven with readings and short writings that bring depth and poignancy to the occasion.
The evening will include a short participatory service, led by Licensed Lay Minister Eileen Tomlin, concluding with an act of remembrance.
A choir spokesperson said: “Everyone is warmly welcome to join us as we remember those who have lost their lives or been affected by conflict.
“Magic Dawn and Sunset Bright reminds us that even in times of darkness, the world continues to turn — bringing renewal, light, and hope.”
There will be a retiring collection, with proceeds shared between The Royal British Legion, the Malvern Link with Cowleigh Parish, and the Malvern Male Voice Choir.
The concert takes place on Sunday November 9 at 7.00pm at The Church of the Ascension, Somers Park Avenue, Malvern WR14 1XA.
