POLICE will be joining a local housing association in Rushwick later this week to discuss concerns with residents on a neighbourhood walk.
West Mercia Police’s Kempsey & Alfrick Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) will join Platform Housing at Baskerville Drive, Rushwick between 11.30am and 12.30 pm on Thursday (April 10).
Residents are encouraged to join them on the walk to have a say on area improvements. The walkabouts give residents a chance to meet neighbourhood police officers, councillors and other community partners to highlight issues and concerns locally.
Issues usually centre around the maintenance of properties, open spaces and communal areas, neighbourhood safety, engagement with landlords and community partners on local matters, and nearby projects and activities.
A Kempsey & Alfrick SNT spokesperson said: “We will be on hand alongside Platform Housing to discuss any local concerns or questions.”
