MALVERN residents looking to get in shape in this year can kick-start their new healthy lifestyle for free, thanks to Freedom Leisure.
Sport Dyson Perrins is offering free seven-day exercise passes throughout this month for anyone wanting to try out the various forms of physical activity the Yates Hay Road Centre offers.
This includes anything from exercise classes and racket sports to use of the centre’s fitness suit and other facilities.
After the trial expires people will have the opportunity to become full-time members from just £21 a month.
Centre manager James Hayward said: “We know many people will have made a New Year’s resolution to lose weight or get fit in 2018 but many fail before they even get started.
“We hope our seven day pass will encourage people to try out and discover a form of exercise they enjoy and then encourage them to stay active and build positive health habits.”
Freedom Leisure runs the district’s leisure centres on behalf of Malvern Hills District Council.
Together they are committed to helping residents become more active.
Being more physically active has numerous benefits including reducing the risk of developing conditions such as diabetes and heart disease as well as helping to reduce stress, boost mental well-being and control weight.
