Malvern residents in with chance of winning trip to adventurous film festival

FOUR lucky Observer readers have the chance to secure tickets to watch some of the UK’s most talented adventurers at the Banff Mountain Film Festival.

Now in its sixth year, the UK and Ireland tour is set to be the largest to date with 83 screenings taking place across 55 locations and it will arrive at Malvern Forum Theatre on Friday, February 27, and Saturday, February 28.

The festival, which will bring together more than 45,000 adventure lovers, showcases a diverse collection of the best and latest films from the global mountain sports community.

Film highlights include world renowned trial rider Danny MacAskill riding a mountain bike on the death-defying Cuillin Ridgeline in Scotland, Alastair Humphreys and Leon McCarron attempting to take a homemade steel cart – filled with 300kg of supplies – more than 1,000 miles through desert heat and acclaimed climber Jeremy Collins taking on four journeys from the Venezuelan Amazon to the China – Mongolian border on to northern Canada and finally the Yosemite Valley in California.




A pair of tickets for both the Friday and Saturday night are up for grabs and readers can be in with a shot of attending by answering the following question.
