Malvern residents have chance to make will and help hospice

Malvern Editorial 25th Aug, 2017   0

MALVERN residents are being invited to get their affairs in order and aid a county hospice during its Write a Will month.

St Richard’s Hospice have teamed up with Harrison Clark Rickerbys, Scaiff LLP Solicitors, in Worcester and Kitcat and Co Solicitors, based in Malvern for the campaign next month.

During the hospice’s Write a Will Month campaign, a single will is on offer for £95 with a double will for £150.

All of the money raised will be donated to St Richard’s Hospice as part of the campaign which aims to raise awareness of the importance of writing a will – which is a document setting out how people want their money, property and possessions to be distributed after their death.

Ria Simons, a fund-raiser at St Richard’s, said: “Writing a will should not be a daunting experience, but we understand it is often a process many people don’t like to think about.

“Once you have a will in place, you also have peace of mind to know if you died, everything would be organised for your loved ones.

“All the participating solicitors are giving up their time free of charge to help the hospice – we are very grateful for their generous support.”

Anyone who wishes to take part can call one of the participating solictors to make an appointment and quote the St Richard’s Hospice Write a Will Scheme.
