THE MALVERN Spa Association (MSA) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this weekend.
MSA was set up in September 1998 to conserve, protect and restore the springs, wells, spouts and fountains of the Malvern Hills.
With support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and in partnership with the Malvern Hills AONB, a project was undertaken to restore such water features.
Following the conclusion of the project, MSA has continued to promote the study, conservation, development and awareness of Malvern’s springs and spouts to help preserve them for future generations.
MSA are responsible for the running of the hugely popular Well Dressing Festival which takes place each year over the May Day Bank Holiday.
A record number of wells were dressed this year, with the theme of ‘Year of the Woman’.
To celebrate MSA’s 20th anniversary, they are hosting a party tomorrow (Saturday).
