A MALVERN charity which supports families who have children with disabilities has been donated hundreds of pounds.
Malvern Special Families has received £500 from Best Parties Ever Ltd to enable the charity to provide more activities and support more families in the area.
This year Malvern Special Families is celebrating its 30th year after being set up in the 1980s and has now grown to support over 120 families across Worcestershire, providing clubs and play schemes for children and young people with disabilities aged between five and 19.
Eve Bradford, sales and event manager for Best Parties Ever Ltd, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer some help to support this wonderful local charity which does so much to engage and encourage children and young people with disabilities and special needs.”
Community fundraiser Cassie Zoro added: “It is great to receive such a kind donation and goodwill gesture from a big business.
“This is an exciting time for our charity, this year we are celebrating 30 years of supporting local families and are keen to partner up with local organisations so that we can expand our services to meet the needs of local families.”
