A MALVERN charity which supports families who have children with disabilities has received a donation of more than £300 from the town’s Fatface store.

A cheque for £301.96 was presented to Malvern Special Families at the shop on Church Street as part of a joint 30th anniversary.

The money was raised from the high street retailer’s ‘Thanks for Giving’ scheme with Fatface shops across the UK hosting fund-raisers for their chosen charity.

Staff at the Malvern Fatface shop hosted a series of in-store fund-raisers including tombolas, raffles, bake sales and colouring competitions.

Cassie Zoro, community fund-raiser at MSF, said: “Thank-you so much to the staff at the Fatface store in Malvern who have really thrown themselves into fund-raising for Malvern Special Families this year.

“A big thank-you to all the shoppers who took part in the fundraising events in the Fatface store.

“The money raised will help our small charity to continue to provide fun activities for local children with disabilities.”

Yasemin Prvulj-Smith, store manager for FatFace in Great Malvern, added: “We are committed to making a difference to local people through the Fatface ‘Thanks for Giving’ campaign.

“We are proud to be able to support the good work Malvern Special Families do.”
