HUNDREDS of pounds were raised by Malvern St James Girls’ School for Macmillan Cancer Support after they took part in the charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event.
Pupils, staff, friends and family, as well as children from Malvern Parish C of E Primary School, came together on Friday to raise more than £700.
There was lots on offer to keep guests entertained including games such as a treasure hunt, tombola and splat the rat.
Live music, a raffle and chocolate fountain was also included in the entertainment.
Headmistress Mrs Olivera Raraty said, “We are delighted to support Macmillan, and I’m really grateful to everyone who has come along today to contribute to the charity.
“In particular I would like to thank the girls and staff who have worked hard to plan the event, and to create lots of exciting stalls which make the event fun, but also raise extra money.”
