MALVERN St James Girls’ School unveiled its new cafe to the public last week.
The ribbon was cut to officially open The Pavilion at the school’s sports and fitness centre on Barnards Green Road last Tuesday by headmistress Olivera Raraty.
MSJ’s new cafe overlooks the school’s sports pitches and with plenty of space to sit inside, there’s also an outdoor seating area.
There was a real buzz and excitement at the opening, which continued all day as people came to discover the new venue and take advantage of the free drinks which were served all day.
“It’s wonderful to have this new café here at MSJ,” said Mrs Raraty.
“The team behind it has worked so hard in getting it open and we hope everyone in the area will come and support it.”
Mrs Anita Fisher, head of catering at MSJ, added: “We’re all so excited about this new venture.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people from the community and sharing our new venue with them.”
