GREAT Malvern is to take part in the Vegan Festival of Britain celebrations.
Worcestershire Vegans and Veggies (WVV) is setting up a stall inside the grounds of Priory Church this Bank Holiday Monday from 10am to 5pm as part of the three-week nationwide event.
WVV will offer offer food samples, leaflets on nutrition and information on how to live a vegan lifestyle.
The stall is part of a project which has been co-ordinated by Animal Aid to mark its 40th anniversary and to celebrate the rise of interest in plant-based foods.
National festival organiser Mark Gold said: “I am delighted that Worcestershire Vegans & Veggies are joining our festival giving those who are not yet convinced a chance to learn more about the vast range of foods available and the benefits of veganism for animals, people and the environment.”
