Malvern tractor show ready to pull in the crowds

Malvern Editorial 6th Mar, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

VISITORS are expected to be all revved up when a popular show returns to the Three Counties Showground.

More than 450 tractors will travel to the Malvern site as part of the renowned Tractor World Show and will mark the Showground’s first major event of the year.

The two day indoor event next Saturday and Sunday (March 14 and 15) will see a range of classic, vintage and veteran vehicles and machines, horticultural and farm model displays as well as toys, clothes, books and models.

Last year’s show saw a record breaking number of visitors through the door and organisers say next week’s spectacle looks set to top that.

Organiser Mark Woodward said: “Last year we put up a massive marquee which meant we had lots more space and most of the show was under cover.

“Visitors enjoyed browsing the trade and club stands in comfort, so this year with visitor numbers set to be even higher, the marquee will be used again.

“I am really looking forward to seeing the spring steam spectacular as we have lined up several remarkable steam engines that will all be ‘in steam’ throughout the weekend.”

The show runs from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday. Visit www.tractorworldshow.co.uk for tickets or further information or call 01697 451882.
