THE MALVERN U3A’s annual group fair is expected to be bigger than ever.
With more than 100 groups to choose from, there is plenty to suit everybody’s taste when the fair comes to Malvern Theatres on Monday between 10am and 12pm.
It costs £14 to register for the year and many of the group sessions are free, but some charge between £1 and £1.50.
The Malvern U3A currently has more than 1,500 members who can sign up to groups as diverse as cycling, geology, play reading, boules, knitting, croquet and much more.
Since last year a number of new groups have been added to the list.
There are now Italian language groups, the Study of Fairytales, Walking with Dogs, Rummikub and Mah Jong as well as a thriving group called Sing Anyway for members who think they can’t sing.
New groups for the coming year include Rediscovering William Morris, The Blood that Moves the Body, Nutrition and Health, Learn to Read Music and an Economics Discussion group.
For more details of all the groups available and what days they get together visit www.malvernu3a.org.uk.
Membership is open to anyone who is no longer in full-time employment.
