MALVERN, Upton-Upon-Severn and Tenbury Wells have been named among the best places to live in the UK.

The three areas have been named as one of only eight in Worcestershire to be named in the 2026 Muddy Stilettos 260 top places to live guide.

In the guide, Malvern is described as a charming town that perfectly balances heritage and modern buzz, framed by some of the most jaw-dropping scenery in the South West.

The guide added: “The town centre brims with indie boutiques, artisan shops and cosy cafés serving up top coffee and homemade treats, while standout restaurants and a tropical-style spa add a touch of luxe.

“With handsome period villas, a lively community and those knockout views at every turn, it’s easy to see why Great Malvern is one of Worcestershire’s most coveted postcodes.”

Tenbury Wells was described as the quiet achiever of market towns with a low profile and high appeal.

And it was also said riverside living doesn’t get prettier than Upton-upon-Severn, a small town that ‘charms your socks off with its cobbled lanes and quirky old buildings.’

The Muddy Stilettos guide selects 260 places from 31 different counties and regions across the UK, as well as featuring a ‘best of the rest’ category.

It gives insider intel on the loveliest city spots, towns and villages that feature the best schools, shopping and pubs.

The other Worcestershire areas to be featured were Bewdley, Bretforton, Broadway, Bromsgrove and Ombersley.
