ENTREPRENEURIAL spirit is thriving in Malvern districts as villages are flourishing with new and refurbished businesses.
Popular towns within the Malvern Hills District, including Tenbury Wells, Great Malvern and Upton upon Severn, are brimming with nine new businesses and eight existing business refurbishments.
Residents and visitors now have even more to enjoy and explore around the district, including new food ventures, pottery painting, greengrocers, a homeware store, and so much more.
New and refurbished businesses include:
- London House Café, Malvern Link, re-decorated with quirky flower wall and reclaimed wood.
- The Fig Deli – Great Malvern, The Fig has now opened a deli next to its restaurant.
- Dirty D’s Doughnuts – Now open on Church Walk, Great Malvern.
- The Unicorn, Great Malvern’s oldest pub, has been refurbished.
- Amnesty Bookshop, Great Malvern, after 25 years of trade on Edith Walk the second-hand bookshop will soon open on Church Walk.
- Seasalt – new clothing store in Great Malvern.
- Lonsdale’s Fresh Produce – new greengrocers in Link Top.
- Hillbilly’s – new eat-in location, Malvern Link.
- Dog Days Street Food – moved to Graham Road, Great Malvern.
- Pitter Potter – new pottery painting, Tenbury Wells’ Teme Street.
- Dandelion – new homeware shop, Upton upon Severn.
- YMCA – has had a makeover in Great Malvern.
- Grace & Mae Hair and Beauty – Great Malvern Established hair stylists have moved into the new premises at 1 Broads Bank in Great Malvern after 15 years at The Avenue in Barnards Green.
- Fox, Town and Country local estate agents – moved into the empty spot in the Brays building on Worcester Road, Great Malvern.
- Eternally Ageless Aesthetics – Tenbury Wells. This beauty and cosmetics company have taken on and fully refurbished a flood damaged property at 5 Market Street Tenbury Wells.
- St. Richards Hospice Charity Shop – Barnards Green, the former J’Habite interiors shop is being renovated to accommodate new, larger Charity Shop.
- The Cobhouse Country Park – Wichenford recently installed new play area.
