A BUDDING aircraft photographer captured this image of the Red Arrows as they passed over Malvern on Sunday (June 4).
Laura Todd snapped the picture as the famous RAF aerobatics team flew over her home near Barnards Green Cricket Club.
The Red Arrows were flying over the region as part of the Midlands Air Festival at Ragley Hall in Alcester on Friday, June 2, Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4.
During the festival the Red Arrows flew over Redditch, Kidderminster, Barnt Green and Malvern en route to Alcester on Friday and Saturday before completing a final flight on Sunday.
The aerobatics team also did a fly past of the Severn Valley Railway’s Highley train station and locals reported spotting the planes over Longbridge, Lickey Hills and Rubery as they approached Barnt Green.
Laura said: “I have always loved photography and last year I invested in a new camera with better lenses and enjoy the challenge of capturing aircraft as well as nature.
“My love of military aircraft started from a very young age when I first saw the Red Arrows display.
“Over the years I’ve been to many air shows and have passed my enthusiasm on to my youngest son Brad.
“The Battle of Britain memorial flight is always one of our favourites, followed by any fast loud jet and my personal favourite, the C17 Globemaster.
“I’m now looking forward to three days at The Royal International Air Tattoo again next month.”
Laura is also jumping out of a plane to raise money for charity in memory of her father who lost his life to pancreatic cancer.
She will complete the parachute jump for Pancreatic Cancer UK on Saturday, June 10.
